Foreign Ministry: No Ukrainians Among Victims Of Earthquake On Iranian-Iraqi Border

The Consulate Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that, according to preliminary information, there are no Ukrainians among victims of the earthquake that occurred on the border of Iraq and Iran.

The Consulate Department wrote this on Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to media reports, over 300 people have been killed and 2,500 injured as a result of the earthquake in the aforesaid area.

American seismology services assigned to the earthquake 7.3 points on the magnitude scale.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin extended his sympathies to families of the victims of the earthquake on the border of Iraq and Iran.
