Hontareva Ceases To Be Most Influential Woman Of Ukraine Surpassed By Tymoshenko, According To Focus Rating

According to the Focus magazine, Chair of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriya Hontareva has been superseded at the top of the rating of most influential women of Ukraine by Leader of the Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Association parliamentary faction / Member of the Parliament Yuliya Tymoshenko.

The Focus has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, Yuliya Tymoshenko climbed up two positions and occupied the first place in the rating.

Valeriya Hontareva from first place fell to the 19th in the rating.

The updated top ten most influential women of Ukraine, according to Focus, now rank Iryna Lutsenko on the 2nd place (up 20 positions), Iryna Heraschenko on the 3rd (down one position), Liliya Hrynevych on the 4th (up one position), Nina Yuzhanina on the 5th (up 8 positions), Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze ranking 6th (up 2 positions), Maryna Poroshenko - 7th (up 5 positions), Viktoriya Siumar - 8th (up 7 positions), Yuliya Svitlychna - 9th (did not participate in the previous year's rating) and Olena Pinchuk holding on tightly to her 10th position.

Among new names surged in the rating are Halyna Pakhachuk (acting chair of PrivatBank) ranking 18th and Olena Zerkal (deputy foreign affairs minister) ranking 23rd.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, 11% of pollees surveyed by the Sofiia center of social studies said they would vote for Leader of the Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Association parliamentary faction Yuliya Tymoshenko, 10.8% for current President Petro Poroshenko and 10.3% for Chairperson of the Opposition Bloc parliamentary faction Yurii Boiko in a presidential election.
