The headquarters of the antiterrorist operation says natural gas supplies to Avdiivka, Donetsk region, will be commissioned before August 24.
The press center of the ATO headquarters announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"As for the autonomous gas line to Avdiivka, the plan is to accomplish it before the Day of Ukraine's Independence. The works have begun," reads the statement.
The statement reads that gas and electricity supplies via Makiivka, Donetsk region, have been stopped because of damage caused by shelling.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in June 2017, the Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons said that repair crews had restored a power transmission line near Avdiivka (Donetsk region).
