Former chairperson of the State Tax Service of Kharkiv region Stanislav Denysiuk has declared a timeless hunger.
He has written this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The way Matios subordinates tormented me all night in the absence of my lawyer should be subject of a separate investigation. Being an officer, I am not accustomed to complain. Now that I am confined to the limits of the preliminary detention unit, under tremendous pressure, I have only one way to attract attention to the conditions here. I announce a timeless hunger," he wrote.
According to Denysiuk's lawyer Serhii Vilkov, Denysiuk went on a hunger to protest against actions of the prosecutor's office staff.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the court arrested Denysiuk and set a bail of UAH 100 million.
