Kyiv City Council Renames Vatutina Avenue As Shukhevycha Avenue

The Kyiv City Council renamed Henerala Mykolaya Vatutina Avenue into Romana Shukhevycha Avenue.

87 deputies voted for the adoption of the relevant draft decision with minimum required 61, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

During the discussion, member of the Verkhovna Rada Yurii-Bohdan Shukhevych (Oleh Liashko Radical party faction) made a request to support the draft decision.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Association and Svoboda All-Ukrainian Association factions of the Kyiv city council intended to support the renaming of Vatutina Avenue in Shukhevycha Avenue.
