Diplomat Filipchuk Possesses Permanent Resident Card Of Slovakia

Diplomat Vasyl Filipchuk, the head of the International Center for Policy Studies, has permanent resident card of Slovakia.

A well-informed source told this to Ukrainian News Agency.

"Can you imagine that a citizen of Ukraine, who says he has been involved for three years in the issues of peaceful resolution of the Donbas conflict and restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, has a permanent resident card of another country?" the source said.

According to the source, Filipchuk meant this very document when he once wrote on Facebook that after searches in the International Center for Policy Studies an important document of his disappeared from the office.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, law enforcers have conducted a search in the office of a diplomat Filipchuk in connection with the case against member of the Verkhovna Rada Andrii Artemenko (nonaffiliated) about the plan to lease out Crimea to the Russian Federation.

The office of the prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea suspects Filipchuk of developing and transfer to Artemenko of a plan for settlement of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, that included, inter alia, leasing Crimea to Russia.

Filipchuk denied his involvement in the plan.
