Finance Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk estimates the cost of the trip of State Fiscal Service chairman Roman Nasirov for the inauguration of U.S. President Donald Trump at between USD 25,000 and USD 1 million.
Nataliya Korchak, the chairperson of the National Corruption Prevention Agency, wrote this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
She says Finance Minister Danyliuk announced on February 6 he would ask anticorruption agencies to check the trip of State Fiscal Service chairman Nasirov to the inauguration of U.S. President Trump.
The National Corruption Prevention Agency has received a letter with a request to check participation of Nasirov in events linked with the inauguration Trump.
The letter reads that the trip and attendance in the inauguration of U.S. President Trump could cost between USD 25,000 and USD 1 million for one person.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Nasirov confirmed his trip to the inauguration of Trump.
Minister Danyliuk initiated disciplinary responsibility of Nasirov and threatened to sack the head of the State Fiscal Service.
