Higher Administrative Court Resumes Work Following False Bomb Threat

Higher Administrative Court, bomb threat, false alarm

The Higher Administrative Court has resumed work, as the bomb threat it received on Monday morning was a false alarm.

Halyna Haevska, a representative of the press service of the country, told this to Ukrainian News Agency.

"The work of the court has resumed. The bomb threat turned to be a false alarm," she said.

She said a sitting of the court on a lawsuit from Member of Parliament Oleksandr Onyschenko challenging a resolution of the Verkhovna Rada to strip deputy immunity from him has been adjourned from Monday because of an illness of the judge.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Higher Administrative Court suspended its work at 10.00 a.m. after a report of an alleged bomb in its premise.

Prior to this, police detained a pensioner suspected of 98 false bomb reports in Kyiv.
