Prosecutor General's Office Sends To Court 15 Indictments Against Former Judges Of Crimea Suspected Of High Treason

The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has sent to the Kyiv Appeal Court 15 indictments against former judges of Crimea suspected of high treason.

The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Following special pre-trial investigation (in absentia) against former judges of Crimea suspected of high treason the Prosecutor General's Office has sent the indictments to the Kyiv Appeal Court to make a decision on jurisdiction of the cases.

To date, the Prosecutor General's Office has received permits for special pre-trial investigation (in absentia) against former judges of Crimea within 319 criminal cases.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Kyiv Pecherskyi District Court has authorized the Prosecutor General's Office to carry special pre-trial investigation against former 3 judges of Crimea suspected of high treason.
