A court in the Russia-occupied Crimea has extended the arrest of Ahtem Chiygoz, a Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, till April 8, 2017.
Chiygoz's defence attorney Nikolai Polozov announced this on Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Thus the tribunal satisfied prosecutors' motion to prolong Chiygoz's arrest by three more months.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a court in Crimea in September extended Chiygoz's arrest till January 8, 2017.
