Pakistan has reached agreement with Ukraine on maintenance and modernization of tanks for USD 600 million.
Ukrainian News Agency learned this from a statement made by the press service of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
The agreement was achieved on November 23 in Pakistan.
Ukrspecexport Director General Pavlo Bukin and Heavy Industries Taxila Chairman Lieutenant General Syed Wajid Hussain signed the Memorandum of Cooperation.
Defence Minister Stepan Poltorak, First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) Oleh Hladkovskyi and Minister of Defence Industry of Pakistan Rana Tanveer Hussain were present.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine is interested in joint production with Turkey of ammunition, unmanned aerial vehicles, tanks and missiles.
