The National Agency for Prevention of Corruption says it intends to start checking electronic declarations with declarations submitted by members of the Parliament, judges and prosecutors.

Ruslan Radetskyi, deputy chairperson of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption, announced this at a news briefing, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The practical check (of electronic declarations) will start after a decision of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption on the order of the checks… Ahead of all we are planning to check deputies, prosecutors, and judges," he said.

He did not say how much time it would take to accomplish the checks.

The officials will be liable to criminal and/or administrative responsibility if data of the declarations are incorrect, he said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption says 125,000 electronic declarations have been submitted to the Unified State Register of Declarations of Persons Authorized to Perform Functions of the State or Local Self-Government.
