President Petro Poroshenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and French President Francois Hollande have held trilateral talks ahead of a meeting in the "Normandy format" (Ukraine, Germany, France, Russia). The press service of the French presidential administration announced this on Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports. "In Berlin, President Hollande is holding talks with Angela Merkel and Poroshenko on implementation of the Minsk agreements," the press service said. The “Normandy format” meeting will begin after arrival of Russian President Vladimir Putin. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Poroshenko expects an action plan for implementation of the Minsk agreements to be approved at the “Normandy format” meeting in Berlin (Germany) on October 19.
