15 Of 28 Judges Dismissed By Rada For Oath Breaking Appeal Against Resolutions At Higher Administrative Court

Of 28 judges dismissed by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at the extraordinary plenary session meeting on September 29 for oath breaking 15 have come to the Higher Administrative Court with appeals against the resolutions of the Parliament.

A source in the Higher Administrative Court told this to Ukrainian News.

The following ex-judges appealed against their dismissal: Svitlana Volkova, the ex-judge of the Kyiv's Pecherskyi district court, Olena Kalinichenko, Vitalii Martsykevych, Andrii Makukha, Iryna Proshutia, Svitlana Koval, Alla Domaratska, Olha Yefimova, Iryna Tataurova, Serhii Poida, Alla Demidovska, Stanislav Myroshnychenko, and Alla Chla.

The cases have been accepted for consideration.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 29, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed 28 judges for oath breaking and the judge of the Higher Economic Court Viktor Tatkov in compliance with the provisions of the lustration law.

Verkhovna Rada Chairperson Andriy Parubiy denies violations of the Rada rules during the vote on dismissal of judges at the extraordinary plenary session meeting on September 29.
