The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe says representatives of the so-called "Luhansk People's Republic" have denied observers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission access in Pervomaisk-Zolote area in Luhansk region.

The OSCE SMM announced this in a statement posted on its page in Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The statement reads that the OSCE SMM cannot verify sides' compliance with the Minsk agreements without access in the area.

Another statement of the OSCE SMM announces that Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine, Alexander Hug will go to Zolote area with a patrol on Monday. Zolote will be one of three areas for withdrawal of troops and weapons.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 22, 2016 the Trilateral Contact Group for resolving the situation in Donbas has signed a framework agreement on a disengagement of forces and facilities of the Donbas conflict sides before October 6, 2016.
