President Petro Poroshenko hopes that the European Union will take the decision to introduce visa-free regime for the Ukrainian citizens in early October. The President of Ukraine has said this at a press-conference in Kyiv, the Ukrainian News Agency reports. Poroshenko considers that respective decision will facilitate peaceful settlement of the Donbas conflict and liberation of the Russia-annexed Crimea. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in early September, the Foreign Affairs Ministry stated fulfillment of all EU requirements to introduce visa-free regime for Ukraine. Ukraine Expecting UN General Assembly To Pass In September Resolution On Infringement Of Human Rights In Crimea Ukraine expects the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) to approve in September the Resolution on infringement of human rights in the Russia-annexed Crimea. President Petro Poroshenko has said this at a press-conference in Kyiv, the Ukrainian News Agency reports. Poroshenko noted that this is an element of the common de-occupation policy. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the 71st UN Parliamentary Assembly will take place at the headquarters in New York (the United States) on September 13-26. Poroshenko intends to take part in the general debates of the UN Parliamentary Assembly on September 21.
