The Ukrainian Industrial External Expertize (UEX) reckons that the European Union market promising for export supplies of Ukrainian foundry products. Ukrainian News Agency learned this from an UEX's statement.
European Communities consume nearly 11 million tons of foundry products annually.
The machine-building sector is the primary consumer of the imported foundry products in the EU, some 2 million tons a year. In 2015, the biggest consumers were the countries with most developed machine-building sector: Germany (4 million tons), France (1.6 million tons), Italy (1.1 million tons) and Spain (0.8 million tons).
European countries import stably round 4 million tons of foundry products a year.
In 2012, the import was some 3.9 million tons and in 2014 it was almost 4.3 million tons and in 2015 it edged down 22,000 tons.
Germany imported 867,245 tons of foundry products in 2015, most of others in the EU. Italy imported 501,294 tons, France 415,986 tons and Britain 340,229 tons.
The most attractive for exporting Ukrainian foundry products are Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Romania and Slovakia.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the UEX) predicts that export prices for iron ore raw materials (Australian Fe 62% ore, CFR, China) at the world markets will fall below USD 50 per ton in October.
