Yurevych shared that she had been friends with Ihor since 2010, and they had been through a lot together. She described him as a true rocker and friend.

"Raps, concerts, festivals, conversations, creative searches, plans, meetings, birthdays, your unforgettable steaks, how many things were there. And how are we now without you? … And you lived with music, burned, felt that you were real when you played," she continued.

The husband is survived by his wife and daughter.

The band Druhe Sontse was created in the fall of 2009, its former name was Feromon. The author of the idea is Maryna Yurevych, the arrangements are created in co-authorship by all members of the band. The musicians positioned themselves as a rock band with a diverse repertoire and described the sound as a combination of "hard overdrive and distortion" with a flute and violin.
