The Iranian military used a quote from Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, putting it on a missile launched toward Israel.
It was reported by El Mundo.
The missile body was marked with a quote from Sánchez in English and Farsi: "This war is not only illegal, but also inhuman," which he said during the EU summit. The inscription "Thank you, Mr. Prime Minister" was also added next to it.
Previously, Iranian media published images of other missiles with inscriptions, including references to protests in London against US actions in the Middle East.
After the start of the joint US-Israeli operation against Iran, Spain criticized the military action and limited the use of its military bases for strikes in the region

Pedro Sánchez said that further escalation deepens instability and could lead to a prolonged conflict. In response, US President Donald Trump called for the severance of relations with Spain.
Later, the Spanish authorities sent the frigate Cristóbal Colón to the Mediterranean Sea to strengthen air defense and potentially evacuate civilians.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 23, President Trump said that the United States and Iran would jointly control the Strait of Hormuz, which would allegedly be opened for navigation soon.
