Trump has announced the deployment of an international fleet to protect the Strait of Hormuz. He hopes that China, France, Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom will also send ships.
US President Donald Trump said that many countries, along with the United States, will send warships to ensure the openness and security of the Strait of Hormuz.
The list includes countries that have suffered from Iran's attempts to block the strait, Trump wrote on Truth Social.
According to him, the United States and Israel have already destroyed 100% of Iran's military capabilities, but it can send one or two drones, plant a mine, or launch a short-range missile directly into the Strait, no matter how much it has been defeated.
"Hopefully China, France, Japan, South Korea, the UK, and others, that are affected by this artificial constraint, will send Ships to the area so that the Hormuz Strait will no longer be a threat by a Nation that has been totally decapitated," the US president said.
He added that "In the meantime, the United States will be bombing the hell out of the shoreline, and continually shooting Iranian Boats and Ships out of the water."
"One way or the other, we will soon get the Hormuz Strait OPEN, SAFE, and FREE!" the American leader emphasized.
