On the evening of February 9, an accident involving a judge occurred in Kryvyi Rih: a woman hit a 12-year-old boy on a pedestrian crossing. The child was taken to the hospital with numerous injuries. It was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation.
"According to preliminary data, on February 9, at about 4:30 p.m. in Kryvyi Rih, a judge driving a BMW hit a boy born in 2014. The child and his mother were crossing the road on a regulated pedestrian crossing. As a result of the accident, the boy sustained numerous injuries and was hospitalized in a medical facility," the statement said.

It is noted that SBI investigators immediately arrived at the scene. The investigation also asks citizens who witnessed the accident or have photos or video materials to contact the Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigation in Poltava by phone: 0800-350-352.
The pre-trial investigation is being carried out under Part 2 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - violation of traffic safety rules, which caused serious bodily harm. The article provides for up to 8 years in prison.
