In 2025, the State Special Transport Service arranged 534 km of anti-drone nets along roads in 7 regions of Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense has announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Secondarily, the military protected roads in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Sumy, Kharkiv and Kyiv Regions.
The following amount of protection has been set up in each region:
Donetsk Region - 92.2 km;
Dnipropetrovsk Region - 66.7 km;
Zaporizhzhia Region - 106.2 km;
Kherson Region — 95.1 km;
Sumy Region — 116.9 km;
Kyiv Region — 52.4 km;
Kharkiv Region — 5.0 km (work has begun).
In addition, the State Special Transport Service carried out:
construction of over 2,000 strong points;
construction of over 3,000 km of anti-tank ditches;
installation of 1,000 km of barrier pyramids (type P3-1);
equipment of 16,000 km of the "Yehoza" barrier line;
installation of over 4,000 km of low-visibility obstacles.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, last night the aggressor country russia again attacked the Kyiv Region, residential buildings and critical infrastructure were hit.
On the night of January 13, the russian terrorist army also carried out a massive attack on the territory of the postal terminal in the suburbs of Kharkiv, causing fires, killing four people and injuring six others.
According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of Tuesday, January 13, russian troops launched 25 missiles of various types and 293 attack drones at the territory of Ukraine, and the air defense forces managed to neutralize 7 missiles and 240 drones.
