In the Kyiv Region, about 30,000 residents of the Brovary, Bucha and Fastiv districts remain without power due to bad weather. This was reported by DTEK.
"Emergency power outages continue in the Brovary and Boryspil districts due to equipment damaged by shelling," the report says.
It is noted that for the third day now, the Kyiv Region's energy sector has been working in an intensified mode, overcoming the consequences of the bad weather, which were complicated by shelling. 187 teams have been involved, working continuously in frost and blizzards.
Since January 9, it has been possible to restore power to 370,000 homes in the region:
- 280,000 after the bad weather,
- 90,000 after the shelling.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the situation with power in Kyiv will improve by January 15. During this week, there was not a single day without shelling of energy facilities and critical infrastructure, with 44 attacks recorded.
