171 combat clashes took place at front during day, most of them in Pokrovsk and Huliaipole Axes

On January 9, 171 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked the most in the Pokrovsk (43 clashes) and Huliaipole (27) Axes.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out two missile and 28 air strikes, used 36 missiles and dropped 92 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the enemy carried out 3,322 shelling, in particular, 61 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 6,140 kamikaze drones for strikes.

On January 9, 171 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.

Thus, in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk Axes, the enemy carried out 135 attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South-Slobozhansk Axis, the enemy attacked 10 times in the areas of the settlements of Prylipka, Starytsia, Vovchansk and Zelene.

In the Kupyansk Axis, the enemy made 7 attempts to attack in the area of ​​Stepova Novoselivka and towards Bohuslavka and Nova Kruhlyakivka.

In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 14 times, trying to wedge into our defenses in the area of ​​the settlements of Novovodiane, Novoyehorivka, Kolodiazi, Drobysheve and Myrne.

In the Slovyansk Axis, the Defense Forces stopped the offensive action of the invaders in the area of ​​Platonivka.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, the enemy attack towards Stupochky was repelled in the past day.

In the Kostiantynivka Axis, the enemy carried out 20 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, Yablunivka and towards Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, the defenders stopped 43 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Razyne, Shakhove, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka and towards Novopavlivka and Filia.

In the Oleksandrivsk Axis, 20 attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Piddubne, Sosnivka, Verbove, Vyshneve, Rybne, Yehorivka and Krasnohirske.

In the Huliaipole Axis, the defenders stopped 27 enemy attempts to advance in the areas of the settlements of Solodke, Huliaipole, Varvarivka and Zelene.

In the Orikhiv Axis, the enemy tried to launch an offensive in the Stepove area, but was repulsed.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, the enemy tried once to improve its position in the Antonivskyi Bridge area - but was unsuccessful.

Over the past day, missile forces and artillery hit three areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment.

In total, the losses of the russian invaders on January 8 amounted to 880 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 8, 161 combat clashes took place at the front, with the enemy attacking most in the Pokrovsk (33 clashes) and Huliaipole (21) Axes.
