AFU repelling enemy assaults in Pokrovsk and clearing city of occupiers - Skhid troops group

The Defense Forces continue to repel attacks by russian troops in the Pokrovsk area, stopping the enemy's advance directly in the central part of the city. This is reported by the Skhid [East] troops group.

In the city center, active work is underway to identify and eliminate assault groups of occupiers who are trying to accumulate forces in residential areas. In parallel, the tense situation remains in Myrnohrad, where, despite the difficult logistics, the Defense Forces are not only holding their positions, but also successfully destroying the enemy on the approaches to the city. To strengthen the defense, additional reserves and equipment have been transferred to this area, and measures are underway to expand logistical corridors.

The russian army is suffering critical losses in attempts to break through the defense lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, losing a large number of infantry and armored vehicles.

"Overall, in the area of responsibility of the East Group of Forces, the enemy continues to suffer the greatest losses during the day - 299 occupiers over the past day. 1,166 UAVs of various types and 112 units of other weapons and equipment, in particular two tanks, were also destroyed," the report said.

A separate priority for the Ukrainian defenders was the hunt for enemy unmanned aircraft units. In particular, over the past day, devastating strikes were delivered to the positions of russian "drone operators", which significantly reduced the intensity of the enemy's use of UAVs in this direction. The East Group of Forces confirms that the Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad sectors remain the places of the largest losses for the invaders.

Recall, the DeepState analytical project reported on the local advance of russian troops in several regions of Ukraine as of Monday, December 29.
