President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the consequences of the missile and drone strikes carried out by the aggressor throughout Ukraine and called for increased pressure on the aggressor country.
The Head of State stated this in a post on his official social media pages.
According to the Head of State, restoration works are underway in many regions after the night of russian strikes on civilian infrastructure.
"Unfortunately, there is destruction. The main building of the train station in Fastiv was burned down by a drone strike. It was a meaningless strike from a military point of view, and the Russians could not help but realize this," the statement said.
There were also strikes on enterprises and residential buildings in the Kyiv Region. The Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Lviv, Volyn, and Mykolaiv Regions were affected.
"More than 650 drones and 51 missiles, including aerial and ballistic missiles. There are wounded in the regions. We are helping everyone," the President said
"The main targets of these strikes are again energy. The goal of the Russians is to hurt millions of Ukrainians, and they have already fallen so low that they are launching missiles at peaceful cities on St. Nicholas Day," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
That is why, as the President noted, additional pressure is needed.
"Sanctions must work, and our air defense must work, which means that we must maintain support for the defenders of life. I am grateful to everyone who works for this," the Head of State said.
