The new version of the US "peace plan" to end the russian-Ukrainian war does not contain a clause limiting the size of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
RBC-Ukraine writes about this, citing its own sources.
The initial version of the "peace plan," which was reported by a number of media outlets last week, included a clause limiting the size of the Ukrainian army to 600,000 people.
"The words 'limited to 600,000' were basically removed. Instead, the word 'remains' is used, followed by the rest of the sentence in the revised version. And the word 'remains' has nothing to do with 'limited,'" the publication quotes an unnamed source.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 25, the British edition of the Financial Times wrote, citing sources, that Ukraine had allegedly agreed to limit the size of the army to 800,000 people as part of peace talks.
As a reminder, on November 20, the American edition of Axios published 28 points of the "peace plan". One of them provided for limiting the size of the Ukrainian army to 600,000 people.
