China has supplied the aggressor country russia with more than three million electric motors used in the production of drones, including FPV drones. It was reported by The Wall Street Journal.

The publication cites a report by the Ukrainian Center for Defense Reform. The documents say that in 2024 alone, the Chinese company Shenzhen Kiosk Electronic sold at least 3.3 million electric motors to the russian federation.

It is noted that these motors can be used in the production of not only drones, but also washing machines, electric scooters and pumps. However, the center's staff found out that the final recipient of the motors was the russian company Rustact. It was registered in February 2022 and specializes in the production of drones with a first-person view. In 2024, the company was included in the European Union's sanctions list.

Despite this, Rustact is actively continuing its activities. The report says that from July 2023 to February 2025, Rustact purchased dual-use goods worth almost USD 300 million, of which USD 83 million was spent on the supply of electric motors.

The Center for Defense Reforms emphasized that the scale of the supply of electric motors indicates that Rustact is not only a drone manufacturer, but also a logistics center for other UAV manufacturers in the russian federation.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in October, the Washington Post wrote that in August this year, China sold russia 527,000 kilometers of fiber optics, which is used to produce fiber optic FPV drones.

The day before, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that China is not interested in a weak russia, so it provides active assistance to it.

China responded by saying that Beijing is working tirelessly to achieve a truce.
