As a result of russian strikes on power facilities, consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Odesa Regions are without power this morning. Emergency repair works are ongoing. The press service of Ukrenergo has reported this.

"Due to the difficult situation in the power system caused by the consequences of previous Russian shelling, in several regions of Ukraine today from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., hourly outage schedules with a volume of 0.5 to 1.5 queues have been forcedly introduced," the statement said.

In the same regions where hourly outage schedules are in effect, power limitation schedules for industrial consumers are applied from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Electricity consumption remains high and shows an upward trend. The reason for this is cloudy weather in most regions, which causes low efficiency of household solar power plants, as well as a decrease in air temperature in some regions.

"The need for economical energy consumption is still there. If you have electricity now, please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances until 10:00 p.m.," the power engineers added.

As a reminder, russia attacked DTEK's energy facility in the Odesa Region at night, causing significant damage.
