The Cabinet of Ministers has liquidated the interagency working group on military registration of Ukrainian citizens abroad, their training and military service. This is stated in Resolution No. 1222 of October 1, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"To liquidate the Interagency Working Group on Military Registration of Ukrainian Citizens Abroad, Their Training and Military Service," the document says.

The Cabinet of Ministers created this group in July 2024, headed by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. Among the main tasks of the group was to coordinate the actions of executive authorities on military registration of Ukrainian citizens abroad, their training and military service, and to identify ways, mechanisms and means of resolving problematic issues on this topic.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in September, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to automate the registration and deregistration of citizens, in particular, all male citizens of Ukraine aged 25-60 who are not yet registered for military service without legal grounds will now be registered automatically.
