The russian occupiers attacked Lutsk and the Volyn Region with drones and missiles during the night and morning, as a result of the enemy attack there was minor damage to buildings, 1 person was injured.
The head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration Ivan Rudnytskyi and the State Emergency Service announced this on the Telegram messenger, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"All night and morning, the region and, in particular, Lutsk suffered from attacks by enemy UAVs and missiles. There were 12 enemy targets in total," Rudnytskyi wrote.
There was minor damage to buildings as a result of the attack.
The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that no information about the dead and injured has been received.
Currently, the consequences of the shelling are being clarified.
Later, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Volyn Region reported that one person was injured in Lutsk during the enemy attack.
"In Lutsk, a 48-year-old woman was injured by glass fragments during the morning enemy attack. She was in a shop in one of the suburban villages. The victim received injuries to her arm, leg and back and was hospitalized. The building suffered minor damage," the report said.
It is known that the victim is the mother of a rescuer who was on duty in the regional center that very day.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of August 21, the aggressor country russia launched a massive missile and drone strike on Ukrainian cities. Strike drones, aeroballistic missiles from a MiG-31K bomber, cruise missiles from Tu-95MS bombers and ballistic weapons were launched.
