The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to direct 80% of PrivatBank's profit for 2024 to the state budget.
This is stated in the relevant government decision, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
At its meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers approved PrivatBank's annual report for 2024, as well as the distribution of the bank's net profit for 2024:
- 80% of net profit in the amount of UAH 32.11 billion will be directed to the payment of dividends to the state budget;
- 5% of net profit in the amount of UAH 2.01 billion - to the reserve fund;
- 15% of net profit in the amount of UAH 6.0 billion - to cover accumulated losses from previous years.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, last year, at a government meeting, it was decided to approve the distribution of the bank's net profit for 2023 and the amount of annual dividends, which will be directed:
- 80% of net profit in the amount of UAH 30,211.7 million - to pay dividends to the state budget;
- 5% of net profit in the amount of UAH 1,888.2 million - to the reserve fund;
- 15% of net profit in the amount of UAH 5,664.7 million - to cover accumulated losses from previous years.
