On March 3, the National Bank agreed to increase Oleksandr Sosis' stake in ASKA-Life joint stock insurance company from 44.33% to almost 100%.
This was reported to Ukrainian News Agency by the NBU.
Oleksandr Sosis will buy out Rinat Akhmetov's 55.66% stake in SCM and become the sole owner of ASKA-Life insurance company.
ASKA-Life is the oldest Ukrainian private company in the life insurance sector, the ultimate beneficiary of which is Rinat Akhmetov.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in mid-July 2017, an individual Oleksandr Sosis concentrated 89.1090% of the shares of Alliance Bank.
On July 28, 2017, the National Bank registered the Alliance Bank banking group, which includes Alliance Bank, the closed-end non-diversified corporate investment fund Ukrainian Balanced Investments, and Fincom Invest.
The group's controller is Oleksandr Sosis.
