SSU drones knock out power to Novovelichkovskaya oil pumping station in russia – sources in special service

On Thursday, February 20, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine knocked out power and stopped the work of the Novovelichkovskaya oil pumping station in the Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation, sources in the Ukrainian special service told the Ukrainian News agency.

"This station is one of the key ones for transporting oil in the Kuban: it supplies the Afipsky and Ilsky refineries," the agency's interlocutor said.

The drones hit the 110/35/10 kV electrical substation that powers the station, after which it caught fire and there was a complete power outage and an emergency stop of the oil pumping process.

According to the SSU, this is the eighth successful special operation by the special services since the beginning of the year to destroy russian oil refining and oil pumping facilities, which complicates the provision of fuel to the russian army.
