At the Munich Security Conference, Ukraine outlined the "red lines" of its own interests at meetings with US Vice President J.D. Vance and US Special Envoy to Ukraine and russia Keith Kellogg.
This was stated by the head of the Office of the President Andrii Yermak in the Telegram channel.
"There was a truly substantive conversation with US Vice President J.D. Vance, US Special Envoy to Ukraine and russia Keith Kellogg. Ukraine clearly defined the red lines of its own interests. The conversation on the agreement on rare earth resources will be filled with specifics, but it still needs time and ideas for refinement," he wrote.
He also added that information about all meetings with the russians is fake. They are not planned until Ukraine has developed a plan.
"We talked about security guarantees. And the President made it clear that we will not accept any agreement, if it is adopted without Ukraine. And we need the United States in security guarantees. We will never make decisions that are against Ukrainian interests," Yermak said.
Recall, according to the Financial Times, Zelenskyy rejected the US proposal to transfer about 50% of the rights for Ukrainian rare earth minerals to it, since the agreement did not have clear security guarantees from the United States.
