North Korea has already lost 4,000 soldiers in russia's war against Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this during his participation in the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the "Ramstein" format in Germany, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Putin is not only continuing his investments in aggression, he is doubling them. He has even started hiring soldiers from North Korea so that this war continues. North Korea is studying modern warfare. They do not value their people. And we know it. They are losing them - four thousand as of now," the President said.
At the same time, Zelenskyy stressed that the North Korea is gaining experience "to re-export war" to the Indo-Pacific region. He also noted that russia's rapprochement with North Korea shows the weakness of the leader of the aggressor country, vladimir putin.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy said during Ramstein that this year Ukraine wants to set a record for the number of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will allow stopping the enemy's advance.
On December 23, Zelenskyy reported that the losses of North Korean military personnel in the Kursk Oblast have already exceeded 3,000 people.
