Occupiers start mining Ukrainian ore in Zaporizhzhia Region - Andriushchenko

Near Tokmak in the Zaporizhzhia Region, russian invaders have started mining ore.

This was reported by the former advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andriushchenko in his Telegram channel.

According to him, the occupiers have started open-pit mining of ore in the area of the village of Vesele, located 15 km from Tokmak. The russians have attracted a large amount of special equipment for the theft.

"In the occupation employment centers, they offer work in shifts with a salary of RUB 100,000, but there are no local volunteers. Instead, the occupiers have started attracting migrants, in particular from Asia, thanks to which the "Mariupol migrant diaspora" has begun moving to Tokmak," Andriushchenko wrote.

Recall that the russian occupiers took out more than 350,000 tons of cargo from Mariupol in 2024. Among the exported goods are grain and metal.

In addition, the russian federation recruited 40 Ukrainian children from Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia Region, to the Youth Army, which educates future russian soldiers, which is a gross violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions.
