The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved the supply of a universal ground robotic complex CRAB-LS of domestic production.
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
CRAB-LS is designed to perform tasks primarily of logistical support - delivery to positions of ammunition, equipment and for the evacuation of the wounded. It can also be used to install combat modules and as a transporter in dangerous areas.
The complex has a silent high-traction electric engine, all-terrain tires that allow overcoming sandbanks, swampy areas, shallow ditches and obstacles.
The Ministry of Defense notes that CRAB-LS complexes are already performing various tasks in the Defense Forces, in particular, they have already evacuated dozens of wounded and delivered dozens of tons of cargo (ammunition, provisions) in the area of intensive fighting, which saved the lives of military personnel.
There is an example of using the platform as a ground-based kamikaze drone.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in December, the Ministry of Defense also approved the use of a new Ukrainian-made SOVA 10 drone in the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
