The investigation found new evidence of the involvement of the russian government in the murder in Spain of the russian pilot Maksim Kuzminov, who stole a russian Mi-8B helicopter for the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
This was reported by CBS News.
The investigation found two men, who were interested in Kuzminov and were in Spain when the former pilot was killed. Both serve in the law enforcement agencies of the russian federation.
CBS writes that this summer in social networks there were photos from an air show, where there was a man who looked like Kuzminov. According to the journalists, it was most likely a Ukrainian intelligence officer disguised as Kuzminov.
However, the publication assumes that this is how the Defense Intelligence wants to show: Kuzminov is alive. This should incline the russians to further cooperation with the Ukrainian special services. Journalists are convinced: "the real Kuzminov was buried in an unmarked grave in the south of Spain."
It will be recalled that Kuzminov was killed in Spain when he was walking from his car to the elevator in the underground parking lot in the building where he lived. The fire was opened from a white Hyundai Tucson car, where two men were sitting. They waited for someone in the car for several hours.
Earlier, the mass media found out that russian diplomats from Vienna were involved in the murder of the russian pilot Maksim Kuzminov, who flew the Mi-8 helicopter from the russian federation to Ukraine last year.
Russian pilot Maksim Kuzminov visited bars in Spain popular among russian and Ukrainian clientele, where he spent the money he received for the transfer of the Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine. He also invited his ex-girlfriend, who lives in the aggressor state of russia. This could be the reason for his disclosure and murder.
On February 19, the Spanish publication Il Corrispondente wrote about the murder of russian pilot Maksim Kuzminov.
