The head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration Vitalii Bunechko personally congratulated the governor of the American state of Indiana, Eric Holcomb, on the victory of the Republican Party in the elections.
The official met with Holcomb while an official delegation was in Indiana.
"Met with Governor Eric Holcomb and congratulated him, as the leader of the Republican Party in Indiana, on the convincing victory of their political party in the US Presidential and Congressional elections. During the meeting, he noted the important contribution of the state of Indiana and Eric Holcomb personally to this victory," Bunechko noted in the Telegram channel.
According to the head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, he received an assurance from Holcomb that cooperation between the Zhytomyr Region and Indiana "will continue to be just as dynamic and fruitful."
The official visit of the Zhytomyr Region delegation to Indiana is taking place at the invitation of Governor Eric Holcomb. Ukrainians are conducting negotiations on cooperation with representatives of local communities, universities, and business representatives of the state with the Zhytomyr Region.
It will be recalled that on November 5, the presidential and congressional elections were held in the USA. Donald Trump won the presidential election. Republicans also won a majority in the Senate (the upper house of the US Congress) and the House of Representatives (the lower house).
