Journalists find out why North Korean soldiers go to fight in russia

Soldiers from North Korea are trying to use the chance to get out of the isolated country and see other places, so they willingly agree to go to russia.

The Independent writes about it.

North Koreans perceive the offer to go to Ukraine as a once-in-a-lifetime chance. They are also attracted by the payment offered by russia.

Soldiers are also influenced by propaganda. They may consider going to fight for another country, earn good money and get a privileged position for their relatives.

North Korean soldiers are promised admission to good universities, better housing, moving to the capital and other privileges.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, there are 8,000 servicemen of the Korean People's Army (KPA), who arrived from North Korea to participate in the war against Ukraine, in the territory of the Kursk Oblast of the aggressor country of russia.

Meanwhile, the KPA built new fortifications near the road and rail routes leading to South Korea.
