South Korea considering possibility of sending group of military observers to Ukraine

South Korea is considering the possibility of sending a group of military observers to Ukraine to observe and analyze russia's expected deployment of North Korean troops on the front line.

This was reported by the representative of the President of South Korea, Reuters reports.

Thus, the official told reporters on condition of anonymity that at least 11,000 North Korean military personnel were sent to russia and more than 3,000 of them were moved close to the front line.

He stated that by helping russia, the DPRK will learn valuable lessons from its troops who are engaged in combat operations and are witnesses of modern warfare, which poses a direct military threat to South Korea, adding that this is a direct military threat to South Korea:

"Therefore, we are obliged to analyze and control the activities of the North Korean troops directed against our ally, Ukraine."

We will remind, on October 28, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte officially confirmed the deployment of North Korean troops in the Kursk Oblast of russia.

The Pentagon estimates 10,000 North Korean troops have been deployed to eastern russia for exercises, compared to an earlier estimate of 3,000 troops.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in addition, South Korea is considering the possibility of supplying Ukraine with artillery shells of 155 mm caliber in response to the involvement of North Korean forces in russia.
