2 people killed and 15 injured by missile attack on Zaporizhzhia

On Monday morning, the russian occupation forces launched a missile attack on a residential quarter of the city of Zaporizhzhia, as a result of the enemy attack, two people were killed and 15 others were injured.

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"The body of a dead man was recovered from the rubble in Zaporizhzhia. Fourteen injured, three of whom are in serious condition," he wrote.

Later, Fedorov reported that the number of killed increased to 2, injured - to 15.

Doctors continue to examine the victims and provide them with all necessary assistance.

The head of the Regional Military Administration also noted that a kindergarten, dormitories and about 30 multi-story and private residential buildings were damaged due to the enemy strike.

It is indicated that the work on fixing the consequences of shelling continues.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the russian occupiers struck a residential quarter in Zaporizhzhia. The blast wave damaged nearby houses, in particular, more than 30 houses were affected by the russian attack.
