The UkrGasVydobuvannya joint-stock company at the auction of the State Service on Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine purchased a special permit for the use of Zakhidno-Mazhariivska, including Hulakivska plot in the Poltava Region at a price of UAH 1 billion (without VAT).
ExPro reported this, the Ukrainian News agency informs.
The starting price of the plot was UAH 313.87 million (without VAT).
Two participants competed for the lot: UkrGasVydobuvannya and LLC Newest Ukrainian Information Technologies.
The term of the special permit is 20 years, the area of the plot is 184.16 square meters.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in January-August 2024, compared to the same period of the previous year, the UkrGasVydobuvannya joint-stock company increased the production of gas (commodity) by 7.2% to 9.3 billion cubic meters.
In 2023, UkrGasVydobuvannya increased its net profit by 4.5 times, or by UAH 10.1 billion, to UAH 13 billion compared to 2022.
Naftogaz plans to produce 15 billion cubic meters of gas in 2024 at the expense of the companies UkrGasVydobuvannya and Ukrnafta.
In 2023, UkrGasVydobuvannya produced 13.5 billion cubic meters of gas, and Ukrnafta increased gas production by 6% to 1.097 billion cubic meters.
UkrGasVydobuvannya is the largest gas producer in Ukraine, 100% of the company's shares belong to Naftogaz.
