The first EUR 40.7 million from Denmark to Ukrainian production are already in the accounts of the Ministry of Defense.

Defense Minister Rustem Umierov announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The first EUR 40.7 million from the aid package from Denmark to Ukrainian production are already in the accounts of the Ministry of Defense. This is an important step for strengthening our defense capability, because Denmark has allocated a total of EUR 50 million for the production of 18 of the latest artillery and, most importantly, Ukrainian self-propelled guns Bohdana," he said.

The minister noted that Denmark's example is a signal to all partners about the importance of investing in the Ukrainian defense industry.
