Businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavskyi will not receive dividends based on the results of the Dnipro Metallurgical Plant (DMZ, formerly Evraz DMZ, Dnipro) for 2023.
This is stated in the company's notice of the general meeting scheduled for August 29, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is planned to approve the results of the plant's financial and economic activity for 2023 at the shareholders' meeting.
In particular, according to the results of 2023, the company received a net profit of UAH 504.591 million.
At the same time, it is planned not to accrue or pay dividends based on the results of DMZ activity for 2023.
In particular, the profit in the amount of UAH 454,601 should be directed to cover the losses of previous years. The rest of the net profit should be left undistributed at the disposal of the enterprise (for the fulfillment of statutory purposes).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2023, the plant increased the production of rolled products by 86.2% year over year to 105,600 tons.
DMZ produces commercial cast iron, commercial billet, channel, corner, crane rails, vehicle axles, and vehicle rims.
