AFU destroy 1,130 occupiers and more than 200 pieces of equipment. General Staff reports losses of russians per day
Russian losses in the war against Ukraine have exceeded 406,000 soldiers. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed more than 200 units of enemy equipment per day.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Total enemy combat losses as of February 21, 2024 were:
- personnel - about 406,080 (+ 1,130) people,
- tanks - 6,516 (+ 13) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 12,338 (+ 70) units,
- artillery systems - 9,826 (+ 53) units,
- MLRS - 992 (+ 4) units,
- air defense means - 678 (+ 3) units,
- aircraft - 338 units,
- helicopters - 325 units,
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 7,560 (+ 39),
- cruise missiles - 1,903 (+ 1),
- ships/boats - 25 units,
- submarines - 1 unit,
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 12,861 (+ 56) units,
- special equipment - 1,558 (+ 7).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russian losses in the war in Ukraine on the morning of Tuesday, February 20, reached 1,230 occupiers for a day, while the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounted to 404,950 military. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down two enemy aircraft.
Meanwhile, the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk on the morning of February 21 said that the Ukrainian defenders destroyed another russian Su-34 fighter-bomber. This is the seventh downed plane of the enemy in the last week.
