Losses Of Russians Exceeded 106,000 People In The New Year - General Staff
Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liquidated another 760 occupiers. In general, as of January 1, the losses of the Russian Federation in the war since February amount to more than 106,000 soldiers killed. This is reported in the data of the General Staff of the AFU.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to January 01, 2023 approximately amounted to:
personnel - about 106,720 (+760) people were liquidated,
tanks - 3,031 (+2) units,
armored combat vehicles - 6,084 (+9) units,
artillery systems - 2,021 (+5) units,
MLRS - 423 (+0) units,
air defense systems - 213 (+0) units,
aircraft - 283 (+0) units,
helicopters - 269 (+0) units,
UAVs of operational-tactical level - 1,792 (+46),
cruise missiles - 723 (+12),
ships/boats - 16 (+0) units,
automotive equipment and tank trucks - 4,720 (+13) units,
special equipment - 181 (+1).
The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Lyman and Bakhmut directions.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Russians are carrying out offensive actions in the Lyman and Bakhmut areas and are making attempts to improve the tactical position in the Kupyansk and Avdiyivka directions.
