Russian Troops Personnel Losses On August 17 Up 200 To 44,300 Killed, Equipment By 1 Plane, 1 Helicopter And 17 Artillery Systems

On August 17, losses of personnel of the Russian troops increased by 200 to 44,300 killed, and the Ukrainian military also destroyed 1 plane, 1 helicopter and 17 artillery systems last day.

This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

During the day, the enemy lost 1 aircraft (total - 234), 1 helicopter (total - 197), 3 tanks (total - 1,889), 17 armored combat vehicles (total - 4,179), 17 artillery systems (total - 1,010), 2 units of jet artillery (total - 265), 7 units of automotive equipment and tankers (total - 3,061) and 1 drone (total - 793).

Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 136 anti-aircraft defenses, 93 units of special equipment, 190 cruise missiles and 15 ships/boats.

The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk direction.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 16, losses of personnel of Russian troops increased by 200 to 44,100 killed, equipment - by 6 tanks and 4 artillery systems.
