Appeal Court Upholds Arrest Of Suspected Organizer Of Journalist Babchenko Murder

The Kyiv Appeal Court has upheld the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv’s decision to order detention of Borys Herman on suspicion of organizing the failed assassination of Russian opposition journalist Arkady Babchenko.

Herman’s lawyer Yevhen Solodko announced this to the Ukrainian News agency.

The appeal court made the decision on Monday.

The appeal court rejected an appeal by Herman’s lawyers.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the court ordered detention of Herman for 60 days as a preventive measure.
